Common questions.

Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests scan the QR code with their phone camera and the guide opens instantly in their browser. No app store, no login, no friction.
What happens if I change the WiFi password?
Update it in the Owner Portal and it changes on the guest page immediately. No reprinting, no calling guests — it's just there.
Do I need to reprint the QR code if I update content?
Never. The QR code points to a permanent URL. You can update your content as many times as you like and the same QR code always shows the latest version.
Are there really no monthly fees?
Correct — $149 NZD once for your first property, $99 for each additional. StayMate runs on your payment forever with no recurring charges.
Can guests see other guests' messages?
No. Each guest gets their own private message thread. Previous guest conversations are completely hidden from new guests.
What languages does StayMate support?
Seven at launch — English, Te Reo Māori, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, German, and French. The guest page detects the browser language and switches automatically.
I have multiple properties — how does that work?
Your first property is $149 NZD. Each additional property is $99 NZD. All properties are managed from a single owner portal login.
What if I'm not tech-savvy?
