Last updated: March 2026 · Applies to: The Pit
Kiwi Code ("we", "us") operates The Pit mobile application. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use The Pit.
The Pit does not require you to create an account. The app automatically generates an anonymous ID stored in Firebase to save your favourite stations. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information.
If you submit a station report or station request through the app, the text you enter is stored in our Firebase database. No personal information is attached to these submissions — they are linked only to your anonymous ID.
The free version of The Pit uses Google AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob may collect device information and use cookies to serve personalised ads. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for more information on how AdMob handles data.
The Pit links to third party radio streams. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those stations. All streams are used with permission from the respective station owners.
We use Google Firebase which provides industry-standard security for data storage. Your anonymous ID and favourites data are stored securely and are not shared with third parties.
We may update this privacy policy at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
